This is a discussion on what we mean by ‘Racism’ and ‘Anti-Racism’ in the context of Higher Education in Ireland.
We would strongly prefer if you can attend ‘in person’ but if you are outside of Cork or cannot make it to UCC, you will find a zoom link at the bottom of this page.
Racism in higher education is an often ignored and pervasive problem that affects staff and students across in ways many are often blind to. We will discuss what some of these issues are, we will talk about basic ‘racism and anti-racism’ literacy and we will discuss how we might collectively as a UCC community, change the situation for the greater good.
