Green Week has been a long-standing tradition at UCC. Created initially as Earth Week by UCC Environmental Society, it has expanded dramatically over the years.

In 2020, in collaboration with UCC Green Campus, UCCSU, and UCC Societies, the Environmental Society hosted the first campus-wide Green Week, which included over 25 activities hosted by various groups around the institution.

The green week had an array of events to promote and encourage sustainability in our actions. In 2022, green week included noteworthy events like community markets, a no plastic period workshop, vegan cooking, a sustainable fashion fiesta and many other events.

The following posters list all the events organised, including giveaways for refurbished phones and laptops.
